Focus on mental health and substance abuse prevention.

Mount Horeb Rotary is excited to welcome Tom Farley of Rosecrance Behavioral Health as our speaker this week. If you would like to join us to hear him talk about mental health and substance abuse recovery, join us at Culver's, 1700 Springdale Street, at noon Wednesday for lunch. The talk will follow at about 12:30.

Tom Farley grew up in Madison and graduated from Georgetown University. He began his career in the banking and finance industry in the New York City area. From 1999 to 2012, he ran The Chris Farley Foundation, a nationally recognized non-profit dedicated to substance abuse prevention. Like his brother Chris, Tom was successful in opening the “eyes and ears” of youth audiences through the powerful and effective use of humor. In 2008 he wrote “The Chris Farley Show”,  a New York Time bestselling biography of his late brother, the actor and comedian Chris Farley.

Following his Rotary talk, Farley is scheduled to meet with Mount Horeb High School students who are committed to working on issues around mental health and substance abuse prevention.
