Fireside chat is 1/31 Paul encourages members to reach out to our new members to attend this event to learn more about Rotary and “find their place” in the club.

Super Brunch placemat ad sales; so far we have 116 squares, 98 of which have sold. Please make calls to businesses you know. Paul: It may take more than one touch, and to keep trying, as he has made 2-3 attempts before reaching out to people, all of which have renewed.
There are flyers to post, and Mount Horeb mail will be running an ad.
Brent has plug and play email templates to share to send to prospective advertisers with attachments.

Give Peggy ads so she can ad them to the PowerPoint presentation that will be running on the televisions around the dining areas at the event.

Club Runner was temporarily down, and is back up! Thanks Shawn for taking care of it. She has successfully migrated our records to QuickBooks online.

Guest Speaker Michelle McGrath shared with us her origin story of how she started with Rotary 17 years ago. Our district consists of 55 clubs in the western side of the state. She works with a mental health coalition in her hometown of Waunakee. She shared results of a study that showed 80% of women and 60% of men struggle with mental health challenges.
Michelle broke down her mission with 3 important steps to take:
  1. Show up and shine.
  2. Surround yourself with good people.
  3. Serve yourself and others: focus on self care.

She told stories about her experience at Rotary International event, her time with motivational guru Brené Brown, how a RYLA event changed a student’s life, and a recent exchange trip in Croatia with the Beloit club helping bring STEM classes in elementary schools.

The club presented her with a gift basket after Q&A session, and then she took a selfie with us.
