Karla’s update as she has been away the past couple weeks. This weekend she visited Fort Atkinson for exchange student event, had fun sleeping on the floor, she tried ice skating, did not like it after falling a few times. There was a lot of food as each exchange student brought food from their home country. She will be going to Kalahari this weekend with her host family sister’s gymnastics meet. She will be making a presentation on Brazil to a local 4H club.

News from the student Rotarians:
Delaney’s finals are over, she maintained her “A’s”. Her focus lately has been on her DECA project which is a business start up proposal she has been working on since Oct. The business is based on her 4H projects using epoxy wood work as the start up business. Delaney’s father owns Judd’s woodshop which is where she gleaned information on how to set up the business. She is presenting her project at DECA state this year in Lake Geneva, nationals will be at Anaheim.

Lucas: his 2 finals went well in physics and pre-calculus and sounds extremely busy with his music performances.
Jan. and Feb busy with vocal showcase with Forte, drama club, auditioning for schools, directing drama club, getting together cast list, auditions for shows, getting prepared for solo ensemble (10 events he will be doing, one of which with Russ Christian’s daughter, Clementine. This summer he will be in Minneapolis, continuing with auditions and shows.

Steve Salerno mentioned that he attended an event where Lucas sang the national anthem and how impressed the audience was by the performance.
Guests:
Doug Kahl (Judy’s cousin) who moved back to Wisconsin from Phoenix. Doug works in transportation management business.

Tracy Diehm is with us for her 4th time, 3rd meeting with the club. She will be getting in her application soon.

Happy Bucks:
Russ: he is honored for sitting with the student rotarians solo ensemble, as Delaney’s 4H activities reminded Clementine’s showing in 4H, and how his parents met at a 4H awards function.

Paul: solo ensemble and Sofia brought home a recorder, and practice sessions are going in the house.
