Karla update on Friday went out with her host family and tried octopus, oysters, mussels, and steak tartare. She went to theatre production of the "Christmas Carol". Saturday her host family had an early Christmas dinner, she made chicken hearts, made a gingerbread house. In a week she is going to Arizona to see the grand canyon, New Mexico, Colorado. July will be her last weeks here as she is going to Las Vegas for a concert, then Grand Rapids MI for youth exchange event before returning home.
Student rotarians wrapping up a week full of tests before break. Helen is going to Maryland. Faith is the wrestling team manager and has been busy. The team had tournament 3 wins at the home meet. She has been busy crocheting gifts.
This is our last week, and we will miss them. They were presented their certificates.
Steve Salerno ran the meeting because Paul is not feeling well as bug is going through the family.
Happy bucks; Keith is happy to be feeling better as a sickness went through the house.
Steve Helwig: happy for Leo’s result in the SkillsUSA event so he could qualify for a scholarship. Out of 15 students Leo won. The competition consisted of a written exam and practical skills section. Skills USA is a tech ed or trades program.
Bob: Happy Dave and Dan are here as guests.
Reminders:
Holiday Party next Wednesday . There will be Mt. Horeb trivia at 6:30 game, Miles Morkri will be on keyboards playing holiday tunes, and food. Bring your own drinks.
