Happy Bucks: Peggy is happy for Keith’s great job this morning at the Chamber of Commerce event.
Shawn: happy for her softball tournament, played 16 games and her team won.
Keith: tax season is over and is glad to be back in person.
Susan: happy for Peggy’s outstanding outline for the Chamber Event.

Chamber presentation debrief: room was full, Keith was captivating, and we got a lunch guest in the process.
Committees:
Youth: exchange student update. We have been assigned to Karla from Brazil. Host families are excited. Joey has been assigned to a rotary club in Italy.
World affairs seminar. RYLA is ready to go 5/17
Grants: there will be 4 awarded. $4800
Technology: we will be purchasing a new laptop for the club as well as equipment to run our virtual meetings.
Yearly calendar brochure at Frolic burger stand for our fundraising and advertising opportunities.
Budget: Shawn presented proposed budget. See email sent out prior to the meeting and follow up with your vote.
Paul: more autonomy and flexibility.
We want to be distributing our money while setting enough aside for operations and emergencies. In the next day or two you should be receiving an email with voting instructions.
Susan: Having participated in budgeting in the past, this year we cut the amount of time in the process and have a more streamlined system for the future.
Committees have more control over setting priorities in spending through participation of members.
Steve: Summer Frolic raffle tickets. Our club needs to sell a total of 150. $20 @ or 3 for $50.
Top prize is valued at $7k.
Judy: Rafael is looking for summer employment IT work or paid internship.
