Aubree's update on Operation “Football” file organization system-dashboard to help members locate important files. Tabs will be created on a spreadsheet file with links on file locations. Currently the file structure resides at a gmail account with the school district. Files will be migrated over to the club’s gmail account. This will make it easier to keep track of important documents, and centralize our information for transparency, and access.

Membership Services & Outreach Committee.
Teacher luncheon made the new class of teachers feel welcome.
Addressing the "elephant in the room" and breaking the Membership Services committee workload into manageable bites.
The membership committee has several legs, and several separate functions lumped together. Peggy initiated the cleaving into 2 distinct entities; one for membership and diversity, the other for outreach which includes public relations, press, outreach to public and club members. Brent related that membership onboarding, retention, and recruitment has been an area that "we always have fallen down" needing improvement over long stretches of the club's timeline.
Shawn suggested that the club have new members participate in the Membership Services committee create a clear mission, and developing a system for on-boarding or orientation. She voiced concerns about splitting committees, following by-laws, voting is needed but we can go ahead and getting started with finding a chair person.
Gary asked for some clarification, Peggy stated that things we do outside the club are outreach, and membership services involve activities that go on inside the club such as 5th Wednesdays, Fireside chats, etc.
Brent reminds members that he sent a shared document* with committee structure, and members. *Permission is required for viewing this link. Contact Brent to let him know what committee you are interested in joining.

Visioning and Strategic Plan:
Sarah shared a document to the board consisiting of an outline of committee duties. Steve will be sharing the reports from the Visioning session to help integrate feedback from club members to the various committees. Committee work on the 17th will involve developing a mission statement, and deciding who is the contact or lead for the various committee functions. More work like this will be ongoing during our 9/17 meeting.
