Discussion
  • Liz Grabe and Brent Yauchlar spoke about their incredible time at Presidents-Elect Training Seminars (PETS)
    • Brent reflected that his biggest takeaway was being able to network and share in the energy of Rotary. He noted listening to discussions about how to overcome challenges regarding club processes as well as membership concerns.
    • Liz reflected that giving all members a role instills a sense of purpose. We have to utilize financial gifts and talents, as well as the magic of story telling to accomplish our goals on multiple platforms.
  • Being part of a club is important as shown in the documentary "Join or Die" on Netflix
  • We need three additional members on our Board!
    • The Board meets every first Wednesday of the month and it's a great way to get involved in the club
  • Committees gave an overview of the progress they've made. A few highlights include Judy's recap that two students are going to the Rotary Youth Leadership Awards, the committee is reviewing scholarship applications, and two students will be attending World Affairs. Liz also made us aware that we're looking to further our honorary membership efforts and increase engagement.

Happy bucks
  • Isabel is happy that her mom doesn't need surgery for her arm (injury due to icy conditions).
