Announcements
March 22 is world water day for Rotary.
2 billion people live without safe drinking water, that’s 1 out of 4 people. The Rotary foundation is looking for additional support. Mary Beth Growney-Selene is coming April 9th as our guest speaker to share about the Rotary Action Group WASH which focuses on providing clean and safe water for communities. Peggy adds that we can go to My Rotary to make a contribution that will count towards EREY.
Our club’s foundation is back to approved status as a 501 c 3, so donations are now eligible as a tax deduction.
We are trying to reconcile the handbook and bylaws. Monday morning at 7 there will be a virtual meeting. The proposed changes will be presented to the club for a vote.
