Happy Bucks
During Happy Bucks, Susan shared that Franke brought her a bag of coffee that she plans to give as a Christmas gift. Liz noted that Peggy found old flags for Gary to use during his trip. Gary is officially retiring this week and is going on a trip during the holidays for the first time ever and will get to rely in part on Zandra for dog watching. :)
Meeting Updates
There is a potential upcoming change to the meeting format, with Happy Bucks possibly being moved to immediately after the Four-Way Test.
Members were reminded to please bring swag items for the Governor’s swag basket over the next few meetings.
Zandra shared a personal update, noting that she recently switched host families and played in a basketball game yesterday.
We need your vote to elect the next President-elect nominee.
Upcoming Dates and Events
The club will not meet on December 24. The next board meeting will be held on January 6. The District Governor will be visiting on January 21, and the club will be assembling a welcome basket. Members are encouraged to bring an item or swag over the next few weeks to contribute.

Also on January 21 at 6:00 p.m., the club will host Trivia Night at Brix. The club will receive 10% of the profits from the evening. A total of 80 trivia questions have already been crafted, and members are encouraged to email Peggy if they would like to contribute additional questions.
In February, the Green Team will host trivia at 7:00 p.m. The Super Brunch is scheduled for February 8 at 9:00 a.m.
Super Brunch Updates and Happy Bucks
Members were encouraged to continue working on brunch ad sales, with a goal of selling all 198 squares. The club will take a two-week break for the holidays starting next week, and currently has approximately 400 flags in inventory.
Several members shared personal Happy Bucks. Bill shared that his wife has finally had her aortic valve fixed. Sarah expressed pride in Zandra for sticking with basketball. Laura shared that she started a new job four months ago and is doing well and excited to be part of the club. Heidi shared that she is traveling to New York to celebrate her daughter’s accomplishments and also recognized Liz for her excellent work as president-elect. Gary announced that he is officially retiring this week and shared that Zandra may help care for Winnie during their first holiday away.
The meeting concluded with well wishes for everyone to have a wonderful holiday.
