Guests: Students Molly McCue (from club Interact) and Tim Kruse, who will be representing us at the world affairs seminar.
Tim is a junior involved in wrestling, track and field, and Badger Boys, and is interested in a future in politics. Molly is active in track and field, cross country, band, and is interested in the Peace Corps.
Gary Pace from Madison West Rotary, Susan Wallitsch, Bill Dunnington who is originally from Montreal and has submitted his membership application. His grandfather was a Rotary President.
 
Happy Bucks
Gary shared information about his club's golf outing at Pleasant View Golf course June 9th. West Middleton Rotary golf event includes raffles, giveaways, a silent auction, and prizes.
Dana: is happy to have her son back from Asia trip to meet with manufacturers.
Aubree celebrated her father turning 71, surpassing the average life expectancy for those living with Parkinson’s.
Paul’s daughter Sophia received a national award for math.
Steve is happy for the fellowship and learning at Taliesin
Svetlana this weekend’s Spring Art Tour and invites us to her studio. She was an electrical engineer, and now she is having an exhibition as an artist which is fun.
Liz reported a strong turnout and great energy at the Green Team meeting. 
Franke has a happy buck that he is going to visit his friend, Amy from MARC.
Judy: Raphael’s graduation party is on Sunday night. He was an exchange student from Nigeria who returned and returned back to attend UW-Platteville. Don't forget that our club still needs to find another host family for our incoming exchange student. Information is here.
Steve Helwig: happy to be back with the group, and his daughter turned 16, got her driver’s license.

As soon as possible, sign up for two Frolic food stand shifts here: Food Stand Volunteer Sign-Up

Steve Helwig's Frolic update. Sign up for the Rotary food stand has been emailed. We are asked to cover 2 shifts over the Frolic event. Set up on will be Wednesday 6/11, and Steve needs to have shifts set up early. Raffle ticket sales; this year prizes are cash. The club has been tasked with selling 125 tickets.


Let's Talk about the 25-26 Budget.
Operating expenses through our membership dues. Fundraising earned $30k, which is distributed using a formula using percentages for distribution. Funds raised from Frolic will be credited for the next fiscal year, starting on July 1. Steve Helwig mentioned sending an update to groups and other repeat recipients who we support. Please review and submit your vote, or comments so that if modifications are needed they can be made prior to the deadline.
 
Save the Dates:
Sunday May 18 Clean up at 11:00 at Kwik Trip near the highway 18-151 exit 69. Bring gloves, closed toe shoes, and work clothes.
From June 12 through June 15, we will participate in Frolic, and volunteers are encouraged to sign up for shifts.
Grants Ceremony date has been set for June 25th at the Violet Room.
Around August 13, the annual 10K raffle will take place, and ticket sales are now open. Around August 20, we will host the Teacher Appreciation Luncheon.
 
Next meeting the club will be revisiting the work we did at the April 30th Vision session.
