We met at Icki Sticki. The TV is in place so we had our first hybrid meeting. Brent updated the club on the following:
Frolic: Brent, Steve H., And Carl are taking the lead on the hamburger stand. A sign-up form has been sent to all Rotarians. We will be sharing shifts with other groups including Interact. Set up will be Wednesday the ninth. We will work the stand Thursday through Sunday. There will be no drinking while working. Sign up here.
Golf outing: The outing will be at Deer Valley on July 30, a Friday. We already have some sponsors. We are now looking for hole sponsors for only $50. Brent has already secured some. Also we can get our foursomes together. The cost will be around $60-$65 and that will include a box lunch. There will be other kinds of games for non-golfer including a foot-golf course with soccer balls.
Teachers luncheon: Steve S. was hoping that we would have the teachers luncheon again this year. the date that the teachers will be available is Wednesday, August 18. There are 18 new teachers. The club was hopeful that we could have it and we are pursuing the logistics.
The Task Force Alpha team made a quick report saying that they are working on procedures, processes and best practices. Currently they are discussing the process for bringing new members.
Heidi and Brent are getting together to start the discussion on next years budget.
Heidi announced that her theme for her Presidential Year is "Give Grace".
Peggy reminded everyone that the Spring Art Tour is coming up in a week and a half. There are a lot of new artists and it should be a great time.
Rotary scholarships were handed out this week by Brent. He was very impressed by the excellent students who received them.
