Happy Bucks:
Peggy shared that Laura did outstanding work, especially with selling Frolic raffle tickets.
Gary expressed regret about not being in town and missing the awards dinner due to prior commitments. He had a wonderful Father’s Day in southern Indiana, and shared a touching note that both of his daughters are breast cancer survivors, giving them hope. Their kids are coming to see them renew their vows for their 48th anniversary.
Bob celebrated 56 years with his wife. Keith mentioned that Harrison is enjoying his summer school program and is excited about homegrown science. He also enjoyed the Frolic and got to watch the Frolic parade. Steve acknowledged Dave’s phenomenal leadership during the Frolic, especially in directing the team.

Notes:
Howard Marklein visited the Rotary stand at the Frolic. The group discussed what more needs to be changed to facilitate the visioning plan and ensure that committees are able to execute their follow-ups effectively.
The
Green Team is active and well. The village received a grant to complete an energy study, and the Green Team is spreading the word to Mount Horeb residents to participate in the village wide
energy use plan survey.
A key initiative includes building a cubic yard in each yard to support pollinators. To further the goal of student engagement, the Green Team plans to collaborate with Club Interact and the Energy Team to involve students in sustainability efforts. The group is also considering getting involved with the development of Lukken Farm. Click on
