Susan has 2 happy bucks. She is happy for improving technology for our virtual meetings, and for Monday's presentation with Franke for occupantional therapy students.

Good Morning Mt. Horeb Chamber of Commerce 5/3 at 8 a.m. We will be speaking about rotary. Keith will be presenting, club members are encouraged to attend and meet with the other attendees.
 
May 3rd book club at 6 pm at Susan’s house
“Still True” copies at Peg Ginsburg’s shop in town as well as Sift and Winnow.
 
May 10 student rotarians will be doing their program.
 
5/12-14 RYlA students need rides to event at Wisconsin Dells leaving at 11:00 sharp.
 
5/25 Interact club will be delivering blankets to UW Hospital. Club members are invited.
 
5/31 5th Wednesday and grant awards location tbd.
 
6/8-11 Frolic burger stand. Save the date.
 
Reminder quarterly dues for 4th quarter.
 
Thank you letter from the Executive Director of the Rotary club of Milwaukee for the donation for generators to Ukraine.
 
EREY
Grant committee met and decided is to make up the difference between our club member's donations of $100 and what is due in order to qualify for grant matching from Rotary.
 
Looking for hosts for Father’s Day weekend (June 17-20th) Saturday until Tuesday for visiting Rotarians (GSE exchange) from India. Russ recommends the experience.
 
He also encourages members to make their EREY donation. Only 13 out of 23 have given money for EREY

Post Hurricane Maria we were able to take $20k and make it into $120k using matching grants.
 
Questions about Frolic: This year will be like last year where we had other local organizations helping us run the hamburger stand.
 
Technology spotlight with Will Bruegeman, Technology coordinator at the Mount Horeb School district.
We are testing equipment that will be used in the classroom. Omnidirectional mic picks up voices around the room.
Camera: Hi Def is used by teachers during pandemic. Set up on a tripod.
Wireless hook up to the television using a Microsoft product using blue tooth connection.
Looking for a wireless camera. The setup we tested today is around $750. Camera and mic $80, 4K dongle is $54
Hoping to use this set up for conferences with the school district. Thank you Will!
 
Methodist Church village wide garage sale. Dixie is selling some items (furniture, antiques, and some of her antique dolls) from their home which is for sale. Sale starts Thursday morning until Saturday afternoon. Trollway.com website has maps.
 
Steve: Interact this Saturday at 9:15 they will be working at Neighbors helping Neighbors. New officers elected.
 
Dixie: update on people displaced from Karakahl fire. If you have household goods contact Jana at NHN.
 
Robert: has storage unit full of empty boxes if anyone wants.
 
Steve: Funny story about parking car at district office where a loaded Brunsell truck rolled into his vehicle.
His car is damaged and needs work.

8:30 Thursday morning at Sjolinds Steve, Rachel LaCasse- Ford  from the chamber of commerce will be there to discuss the land donation in N. Cape Commons area and possible sport fields and indoor sports facility. Mount Horeb School District is one of the few schools in the Badger Conference that does not have an indoor pool.
Meeting adjourned 1:03 with conservation continuing.
