Zandra Update
Zandra sprained her ankle in Portage and is currently wearing a boot.

Happy Bucks
Keith shared that Harrison took first place in his age bracket, and Theo was pinned three times; both boys are also doing very well in basketball. Mark announced that the Historium hosts a half-hour presentation every Wednesday at 1:00 p.m., and this week Tate from Cave of the Mounds will be presenting. Tammy shared that their ranch was featured in a Ford truck commercial, and the stunt driver nearly drove into the creek during filming. Paul shared that he attended the Friday Motorcycle Classic with his daughter for a gymnastics event, where her team won. On Sunday, he also went ice fishing on Lake Waubesa in the warmest weather he has ever experienced for ice fishing. Russ shared that he caught beads thrown by Drew Brees during Mardi Gras. Melissa announced that Dr. Dankyi will be speaking at Brix Cider on Monday, February 23, 2026, at 5:00 p.m. CST about women’s health, and it should be a great event with a strong turnout.

Super Brunch
Paul thanked everyone for their help with Super Brunch, noting that the event would not be possible without the group’s support. He welcomes feedback and suggestions for next year, such as providing information about using real maple syrup and real butter.

Upcoming
Amanda Braverman will visit on February 25. The next Board Meeting is scheduled for March 4. The Rotary Mega Meeting will take place on February 24, aligning with Rotary International’s goals to promote a steady and peaceful transition. The District Governor will visit on March 11, and members are encouraged to bring an item or club swag in the coming weeks to help create a welcome basket. The Rotary Youth Leadership Awards (RYLA) program will send sophomores to leadership camp at Camp Upham Woods, where students participate in activities they organize and build conflict resolution skills; volunteers are needed to pick students up on May 11 at 10:00 a.m. The Tricon Conference will be held April 17–18, 2026, in Wisconsin Dells. This event brings together three districts to strengthen and improve clubs and is highly recommended. Rotary is also verbally supporting a political panel hosted by the League of Women Voters on Saturday, March 14, from 9:30–11:30 a.m. Additionally, the District is offering financial assistance for those interested in attending PETS leadership training.
