Dr Sansome has roots to the Mount Horeb community through family. He graduated from UW-Madison as an undergraduate and medical school, after which he had a fellowship in San Diego. He had the opportunity to continue working there but decided to move back to Wisconsin. He was the department head at SSM.
In February 2023 the practice started to answer the call for services in smaller communities within 2 hours of the Madison area. Most of the providers were born and raised in Wisconsin. The practice covers emergency department at Dodgeville.
Dr. Sansome spoke about the importance of having a good culture for the practice, shorter waiting times, and direct access for people who are uninsured. The practice will work with patients on a cash basis with payment plans as well as work with insurers.
