Dennis Schoville was born in Richland Center, WI in 1945.  After receiving his preparatory education at the University of Wi, Madison, he qualified as a U.S. Army aviator and served in the Vietnam War as a helicopter Flight Section Commander,  during that time, he was awarded two Silver Stars, the Distinguished Flying Cross, the Bronze Star, three Purple Hearts and several Air Medals and Service Awards.  Following his medical retirement from active duty at the rank of captain, he completed legal studies at the Illinois Institute of Technology and Northwestern University.

  1. UW-MADISON—1963-1967. He was at the UW during much unrest and violence.  He was a member of ROTC and received his orders the same day he graduated.
