Heidi hosted a Rotary Trivia quiz that was enjoyed by all and we learned some things, too!  How will you do?
-How many Rotarians are there in the world?
-How many clubs are there in the world?
-Where did the term Rotary come from?
-When was our club founded?
-What clubs sponsored the formation of the Mount Horeb Club?
-When did women become official members of Rotary.
-When was Polio Plus started?
-What is Interact?
These questions sparked conversation topics that included:
- Anecdotes about our club before and after women joined.
-Discussion about Rotary Magazine.  Heidi is pleased with how good it is.  She referred to an article about Xavier Ramey that really spoke to her (read article here).  We found that we can view a Ted talk by him here.
-Overview of our Mount Horeb Rotary Foundation purpose and use.
-Acknowledgement of Jennifer E. Jones, a member of the Rotary Club of Windsor-Roseland, Ontario, Canada, who has been nominated to become Rotary International’s president for 2022-23
We wished everyone a happy, healthy New Year!
See you next Year!
