Tammy expressed appreciation for the student Rotarians at their last regular meeting and shared that they will be facilitating next week, along with celebrating a recent birthday with family.

The combined efforts of the Village Parks Department, Mounds Vue Garden Club, Mount Horeb Community Garden, and Friends of Stewart Park, assisted the village to qualify for the designation's criteria. Members of our Rotary club celebrated with 25 attendees including, representatives from bird advocacy groups, village staff, and Chamber of Commerce. Peggy noted that today is World Art Day.
Zandra
Zandra shared that she will be traveling to Florida soon and recently visited an authentic Chinese restaurant.
Student Rotarians
Clementine and Anna were presented with certificates in recognition of completing their month as student Rotarians.
10K Update
The approval process for grants is currently underway, with ongoing discussions focused on who to fund and the reasoning behind those decisions.
Upcoming Dates
Tricon, a conference focused on networking across three districts, will take place April 17–18 in Wisconsin Dells. The district is also offering financial assistance for members interested in PETS leadership training. The club is currently planning the 10K event for either July 30 or July 31, with an alternative option of September 9 or 10 under consideration. Members are encouraged to reach out to Steve to discuss these options, and a final decision is expected within the next week or two. Neither option would conflict with football or Interact student participation.
Community Grants
The committee is currently reviewing nine applications. An awards dinner date has been selected, but further details will be shared once logistics are finalized, particularly in consideration of road construction near the Violet Room.
