Judy: new grand daughter, trip to Brazil, and subsequent Covid quarantine. She has news that Joey is in Brazil, got his visa and in two days was on the plane heading to Brazil.

 

Shawn: Happy her daughter Jenna is back from Medellin Colombia.

 

Jason: Sunday with Mom in Green Bay, tailgate, Packer victory, it was his first game with his Mom.

 

Karla’s Presentation about her home in Brazil, she is a 2nd generation rotarian exchange student. Her Interact group, having parents who are rotarians, home district 4440 club were part of her rotary experience back home. She is fond of ice cream, cooking, her brother, and feels welcomed by our community. Her home is rich in cultural and ecological diversity. Karla shared a chocolate caramel desert from Brazil for the entire group.

Paul: where will our next meeting take place? Recommends a couple places in October. Looking into different locations. Buck and honey’s would cater food boxes. Our options include the following:

 

The Viking may work well. Upstairs, has TV screen hook up. Cons: Smaller kitchen and not accessible to people with accessibility challenges.

 

Spring Garden has a back room available, no TV but there is a screen. We have a projector in the podium.

 

Grumpy Troll; waiting to hear back.

 

Norsk: public space would be difficult to have a captive audience.

 

Peggy: front room at Culver’s. Worth a phone call to find out. May be difficult for presentations with windows.

 

Aztlan: small seating area. Icki Sticki has a limited menu.

 

A suggestion that for the next two weeks the club meets at The Viking, then Spring Garden for 2 weeks.

 

Club voted unanimously for this short term solution.
